A general overview

As in previous years, GMDE has chosen to participate in events and initiatives aimed at providing GMDE’s vision in information management and meeting new business realities. 
We report below the events scheduled for the year 2021. 


The new normal customer by SOEIL International 

April 28 - web conference 
"Many aspects of everyday life and business will not be the same once the pandemic is over. The crisis has brought about fundamental changes in consumer behaviour and Brands obviously have to take them into account. Customers are taking an omni-channel approach to interacting with brands and so the Customer Experience can no longer be just digital or physical. Customers expect the same experience and consistent information regardless of the channel used. "The New Normal Customer Experience" needs to be much more uniform, fluid and consistent everywhere." 
GMDE will talk about marketing technologies for the omnichannel publication of product information. 


Marketing Forum by Richmond Italia 

From 16 to 18 May - Rimini 
"Marketing forum was born in 1996 and since then has become the unmissable b2b appointment for those in charge of Marketing and Communication. A unique and qualified opportunity for new business, networking and training." The event will be held in the Richmond mode that provides for participants an agenda of meetings with exhibitors alternated with workshops and training conferences.


Global Marketing and Digital Summit 

9-10 June - Lazise

Web Marketing Festival 

From 24 to 26 June - Rimini 
"Born from sharing and exchange between people, companies, schools, startups, ONP, institutions and actors of the Italian and international innovation ecosystem, The Festival develops within it numerous vertical events able to put in contact multiple actors from different sectors. Training, entrepreneurship and innovative technologies, culture and entertainment, social innovation and much more: at WMF2021 there will be more than 80 events on the agenda that will involve participants in both Rimini and Online."


Digital Communication Forum by Richmond Italia 

From September 29th to October 1st - Rimini 
"The event where each participant has an agenda totally customized to their needs, which includes: b2b meetings between supply and demand, workshops, conferences. The advantage for all participants is that of a triple business, training and networking opportunity. Born in 2010 to respond to the growing demand for technological and strategic experience that reaches from the web to mobile, Digital Communication Forum manages to give a 360 degree view of the digital communication industry."

As for Richmond Marketing forum the event will be held in Richmond mode that provides for participants an agenda of meetings with exhibitors alternated with workshops and training conferences.


IT Director Forum by Richmond Italia 

From 14 to 16 November - Rimini 
"IT Director forum was born from the need to create a focus on the reality of the Italian Information Technology market and to offer new training and business tools." Dedicated to IT directors, it is a time for them to train and meet with suppliers who present new technologies on the market.


Digital Innovation Observatories of Politecnico di Milano 

"The Digital Innovation Observatories of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano were born in 1999 with the aim of making culture in all the main areas of Digital Innovation. Today they are a qualified reference point on Digital Innovation in Italy that integrates research, communication and continuous updating activities." 
GMDE, given the 2020 experience, has chosen to be a supporter of three observers, one for each proposed thematic area. 


Digital innovation in Smes - Digital Transformation

The Digital Innovation Observatory in Smes aims to illustrate the potential of digital in the different business processes of small and medium-sized Italian companies (10-249 employees), setting itself as a reference point to encourage comparison between Smes, technology providers, trade associations and institutions.


Omnichannel Customer Experience – Digital Solutions 

Support companies in understanding the impacts of a customer-centric and data-driven approach on customer relationship processes and the opportunities offered by omnichannel strategies.


Digital Content – Verticals  

Contribute to a better knowledge of the digital content market, the opportunities offered and the main trends in progress, through an open and constructive discussion with the actors involved, with the ultimate aim of contributing to the development of the market and promoting its proper communication.
