Inclusion and gender equality have always been among the goals GMDE has sought to pursue through internal and self-managed initiatives.
Over time, however, we became aware that these issues have become central to the sustainable development of businesses. For this reason, GMDE embarked on a more structured path towards achieving the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, through a process of awareness and involvement across the entire company, guided by external professionals.
The objective of the initiative was immediately shared with all employees, who actively participated and collaborated throughout every phase of the project, up to the achievement of the certification.
As a result, GMDE employees have now developed a different perspective on gender equality. Career development paths are more structured and consistent, work-life balance is more balanced, and the overall workplace environment has significantly benefited.
The project was supported through funding received from the European Union in cooperation with other national organisations.
Furthermore, the project was completed as part of the initiatives promoted by the Regional Programme co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
