Digital Paper Web Social is Il T, the autonomous daily newspaper of Trentino Alto Adige/Südtirol

A nonprofit publishing project sponsored by the Synthesis Foundation, which contracted GMDE.

"A bold and innovative initiative; building a new local information space that can revise previous models and dialogue with the world, ensuring special attention to the new generations and the languages they use. The new newspaper will come out at 40 pages and will be on newsstands every day, excluding Mondays.

The website, on the other hand, will have seven-day-a-week coverage. Il T wants to offer a change of narrative on the important issues of our territory, representing issues in a balanced way, giving space to different points of view and pursuing a strong idea of sustainable development. It intends to provide the citizenry with a venue where they can contribute to the construction of a quality public discourse, and one that restores depth and perspective to the treatment of issues. And where opinions can be expressed and measured with objectivity, insight and transparency."

Technology and collaboration

Synthesis Foundation has chosen GMDE regarding the technology to support the production of Il T Quotidiano. Proof that when a new newspaper is born, GMDE is the right choice.
The GN4 multichannel editorial system is the best solution for increasing collaboration in the newsroom and meeting the newspaper's always tight production schedule.
Progress in production that is constantly updated, even while the editorial staff is working on the pages; the ability to send editorial content to the digital editorial staff; and a high-performance image and text archive are just some of the features available to Il T.

The first printed one

The first printed copy of Il T is on newsstands on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
A 40-page issue on "Promotion and dissemination of business culture, sustainable economic and social development, innovation, internationalization of the local economy, new entrepreneurship, culture and practice of volunteerism, and cross-border cooperation particularly within the Euregio Tyrol - South Tyrol - Trentino," Roberto Simoni, president of Cooperazione Trentina and vice president of Synthesis Foundation.
Centro Stampa Quotidiani CSQ at Erbusco is the printer, and longtime GMDE customer, entrusted with the printing of Il T.
