Promoting gender equality means creating a fair, inclusive workplace where everyone's talent can be recognized and valued. It is no coincidence that gender equality is the fifth Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda and is widely recognized as a key driver of sustainable economic and social growth.
With this awareness, since 2024 GMDE has embarked on the Gender Equality Certification journey in accordance with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 standard, adopting an organizational model focused on equal opportunities, skills development and continuous improvement.
This commitment is part of a broader corporate responsibility strategy and complements the other certifications the company has achieved over the years, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a culture based on inclusion, respect and merit.
Certifications are an important benchmark, but their true value lies in everyday actions. For this reason, GMDE continues to invest in promoting an inclusive culture through employee engagement, open dialogue and continuous improvement.
The surveillance audit scheduled for July will provide another opportunity to confirm the path the company has been following and its ongoing commitment to turning these principles into tangible actions.
