SAE Group, a new way of publishing thanks to GMDE
The four titles of the group will be produced thanks to the Suite Publishing of M33 Naviga proposed exclusively for the Italian territory by GMDE.
Recently born from the choice of a group of entrepreneurs to engage in the promotion of their territory, SAE Group (Acronym of Sapere Aude Editori) is the new publisher of the historical publications Il Tirreno, Gazzetta di Modena, Gazzetta di Reggio and La Nuova Ferrara.
The editorial project, which started from the sale of the business unit by GEDI-News Network, wants to give new life to the newspapers while keeping their focus on the territory. The presentation of the program was made in January, an event during which the Group spoke of further initiatives such as the creation of a training school in digital journalism.
GMDE and the technological proposal
SAE Group after a thorough analysis of all the solutions on the market, including the one currently used in the GEDI Group, has chosen to entrust GMDE with the project to migrate all of the new group’s publications to the GN4 editorial suite in both the traditional paper and digital fields, with the adoption here too of the Miles33 -Naviga's browse and WCMS solution.
The study and implementation of the project with the migration from current platforms will be entirely managed by GMDE staff, as has already happened in many cases in the long years of experience gained by the company throughout the Italian territory.
The choice made by SAE Group, will allow a significant leap in the future for editorial staff that will finally work in a harmonious, integrated and "independent media" when required, simplifying production flows and speeding up the delivery and dissemination of news on the multiple channels supported by the GN4 suite. Particular mention goes to the digital part that, to meet the changing needs of a market that is changing faster and faster, has been further enhanced; thanks to the skills gained, GMDE can now offer a truly unique experience both in terms of editing and user, with an optimized paywall and fully integrated between the various...
This is a sign that the SAE Group strongly aims to strengthen the communication methods of its publications to further expand its community.
The editorial solution, already being deployed at the editorial offices, also offers the possibility of introducing a paywall on content, the management of subscriptions, the e-commerce mode for ads and obituaries, data analysis, export of borderò and much more. All this combined with the design skills and constant support to its customers, have pushed Gruppo SAE to choose to adopt the proposal of GMDE.
